A Little About Me

Hi! I’m Lei Lani, the artist behind La Vigne Fine Arts. I was born and raised in a small town in Appalachia, where I spent most of my childhood outside, covered in paint, and finding inspiration in the world around me. I’ve loved creating for as long as I can remember, and some of my earliest lessons came from my grandfather’s smiley faces, my dad teaching me how to color, and many Saturday mornings spent watching Bob Ross.

I’m a self-taught artist who has spent years learning through practice, experimentation, and a whole lot of trial and error. I’ve always been drawn to a wide range of subjects, from animals and landscapes to portraits and meaningful places, and I enjoy the challenge of figuring out what makes each one unique.

After spending several years away from creating, I recently found my way back to painting while navigating motherhood for the first time. Returning to art has been a process of rediscovering something I had missed for a long time and making space for a part of myself that I wasn’t ready to leave behind.

Today, La Vigne Fine Arts is a collection of things that inspire me most: people, animals, landscapes, memories, and the places that feel like home. Whether I’m creating an original piece or a custom commission, my goal is simply to make artwork that feels personal and worth holding onto.
